Maria Caiata Zufferey
Maria Caiata Zufferey est professeur en Recherche qualitative dans les sciences sociales et de la santé au Dipartimento economia aziendale, sanità e sociale (DEASS) de la Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI). Titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences sociales de l’Université de Fribourg (Suisse), elle a été assistante à l’Université de Fribourg, Visiting Researcher au Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique de Paris et à l'Imperial College of London, Senior Researcher à l’Università della Svizzera italiana et boursière du Fond National Suisse de la Recherche Scientifique (programme Ambizione) à l’Université de Genève. Ses intérêts scientifiques portent sur l’action et la construction identitaire dans un contexte d’incertitude. Cette question a été investiguée au fil de plusieurs études empiriques dans des domaines tels que l’usage de drogue, l’utilisation des nouvelles technologies de l’information et la gestion des risques en matière de santé.
Maria Caiata Zufferey is professor in Qualitative research in the social and health sciences at the Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care (DEASS) of the University of applied sciences and arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). She holds a PhD in social sciences from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). She has been teaching and research assistant at the University of Fribourg, Visiting Researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris and at the Imperial College of London, Senior Researcher at the Università della Svizzera italiana and recipient of the grant Ambizione from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) at the University of Geneva. Her long-term interests include identity construction and agency in uncertain times. She has treated these topics by conducting several studies on drug addiction, on information and communication technologies for health, and on self-management of different types of health risk.
